Well, we got back from the folks – where, by the way, we had a very nice Thanksgiving, complete with Grandma in good spirits – and painted the back room. And painted it again.
We picked out a paint that looked right, until we got up this morning. It dried to bright, to much of a baby blue and that’s not what we were looking for. So, we ran back to Loewe’s this morning and went two shades darker. Two more coats of paint, and voila we have what we were looking for.
We also got the furniture painted. We hoping that the high-contrast effect we are going for turns out like we envision it. We shall see.
