I couldn’t resist it any longer — I now own a Nikon D50, complete with 18-55 f/3.5 and 70-300 f/4 lenses and 1GB Lexar Pro 60x SD card.
Muninn joins Herman in our digital imaging stable and sounds the official end to my emulsion-based photography days.
I picked it up a couple of days ago from Century Camera. From just playing with the camera in the store I was sold. The controls are fairly quick to understand sans manual (with a couple of exceptions) and the shots I took in the store looked great. And looking at the photos on the computer is just incredible. The resolution is astounding.
Here’s just a few sample shots from today’s mucking about.
