DIY: Brakes

Over the winter the right rear brake on my Mazda started acting up. Mainly the floating caliper stopped floating. This caused it to burn through the inner brake pad at an accelerated rate. This also tore up the rotor. Since I’d be replacing the caliper and rotor on the right side, it only made sense to also replace the rotor on the left, along with new brake pads. (more…)

Need to Upgrade Site
Arg. I really need to get to upgrading this place. I’m getting tons of comment Spam; this is a poorly hacked site setup; and, I just discovered the previous/next functions are working (i.e.: when looking at the archives, only one page of results shows with now options for more entries). I’m not sure when that disappeared.
If only I could spare a few hours. Damn work always getting in the way.
